Is your organization tired of hosting fundraisers that require a lot of effort for a little return? Are your donors burnt out? Maybe you’re looking for ways to get other members of the community interested in your organization?
Wouldn’t winning a cruise be nice? Wouldn’t you like to be the one to give that cruise away?
We have a variety of great cruise certificates that can be used as prizes, in contests or as rewards. You set the price, the time frame and the profit margin. We’ll help promote your contest and increase your exposure.
Problem: Group needs to raise funds for operation costs or a project. Asking for cash donations isn’t meeting their needs, they need a greater influx of cash.
Solution: Raffle off a cruise! People get burnt out on giving because they don’t always see immediate results , but the idea of giving AND getting a chance to win something will draw in your regular donors and those who’ve never donated before – raising awareness of your group and getting more exposure as they share on Facebook and Twitter, share emails and tell their friends. What better to get people stirred up and motivated – helping a great charity AND the opportunity to go on a great vacation. Sell raffle tickets then draw a winner. Let’s say a $20 donation gets you one entry or a $50 donation gets you 3 entries. You can either have a set amount of tickets to sell or can limit the amount of time donations/entries will be accepted. You set the amount, you set the profit margin!
Cruise options range from $583 for a 3-4 night cruise for 2 to the Bahamas, to $3,816 for a 6-8-night cruise for 2 pretty much worldwide.
Profit examples using a set ticket limit (if you use a time frame with unlimited sales, you may be able to raise even more but the odds may not be as good to win):
- 100 tickets sold, $20 per ticket =
$2,000 – $583 cruise certificate (least expensive option available) = $1,417 net raised
- 100 tickets sold, $50 per ticket =
$5,000 - $583 cruise certificate (least expensive option available) = $4,417 net raised
- 500 tickets sold, $20 per ticket =
$10,000 – $3,816 cruise certificate (most expensive option available) = $6,184 net raised
- 500 tickets sold, $50 per ticket =
$25,000 – $3,816 cruise certificate (most expensive option available) = $21,184 net raised
